Start somewhere and start today

So the world is in a pitiful state, and we say that based on the history.  For such an “evolved” civilization, you’re quite selfish.  Not giving any thought to the world you're leaving for your grandchildren and their grandchildren, only carrying about your comfort and possessions.  I hope you all feel bad about that.  We need a grass roots effort to clean up this planet.  You wouldn’t do this to your house, wait, never mind, you do.  You judge everything by the cover.  That sofa looks beautiful, let’s buy it.  Do you care about all the chemicals it’s putting in your air, or the factory workers that get cancer producing it or the animals that sacrificed for it?  Not one thought.  We just can’t believe it.  Such short sightedness.  We need you to do the science and spread the word.  Create widely available healthier choices.  In those stores, show the story of conventional furniture.  Raise awareness.  People don’t know what they don’t know.

Ok that lesson over, but you need to wake up.  We would say wake up and smell the roses or smell the coffee, but it’s really more like wake up and smell the stench.  Have you ever driven past processing plants?  It’s not supposed to be that way.  Wake up and notice the poisoned, polluted, disgraceful world your generation has perpetuated. Find professions to stop and reverse it.

You’re expecting us (ETs) to come in and share our superior technology with you.  And we certainly might share our technology to help reverse the damage done to the earth.  But more than anything we want to give you humanity lessons.  Every American should go spend at least a week in a poor village in a foreign country they would normally never visit.  Live without electricity and running water, sleep with a cow or a sheep or a goat.  Yes, we may be a little salty.  If you really acquainted yourself with before and after pics of the earth, you would be too.

So yes, ETs want to come down to your planet and live in peace with the rest of you, we feel like we have a lot to offer your society.  Unfortunately, we know that probably won’t happen in your lifetime, but we do wish it for your children/grandchildren, if you raise them to love us just like any other being on earth and not somebody to be feared or harmed, it is possible.  We hope our 2027 visit will start that clock.  You want to know things you can do, so glad you asked…..start small, eat cleaner, closer to the earth, the same goes for things in your house and your yard.  You great grandparents didn’t go to the store to buy harmful chemicals for their house or yard.   You’re poisoning yourself and all the creatures that are in your yard, both domestic and wild.  Once that feels “normal”, find a hobby that’s good for you and productive for the earth, knitting (your own clothes, blankets), tatting lace, weaving, woodworking (furniture, bowls, decoration), create a natural organic garden, plant trees, pick up litter.  If you must shop, only by essentials, organic natural fabrics, feel free to start with a thrift store, keep it out of the landfills.  Look after the wild animals in your yard, you’re a steward of the earth.  Start taking responsibility for the things around you, the creek by your house polluted, what can you do about it?  Ferrel cats in the neighborhood, how can you help?  Animals in an animal shelter, give one or two a home.  And for pete’s sake, get to know your neighbors again.  Work as a community.  Maybe there’s a retired person in your neighborhood who would be a better caretaker of  your children than the day care.  Work with the seniors in your neighborhood to see how they want to be of service.  Who’s a good cook in the neighborhood?  Maybe they can supplement your families food instead of buying frozen chemicals in a store.  Who’s the gardner in the neighborhood?  Have them teach you.  Is there a kid in the neighborhood that can mow the yard instead of that business?

Once you’ve got it going on a local level - step it up, go to a foreign country and help them with their infrastructure.  Send your children there for a couple years before or after college.  They would be so much better equipped to go through life.  Choose a family on the other side of the globe to partner with.  Learn from each other.  Think of each other as family.

The next level would be more full time, a career in taking care of the earth and its wild inhabitants.  The trick with this obviously is figuring out where your paycheck will come from.  We hope there will be a ton of wealthy sponsors to help with this.  And we want this to be on a personal level, we want them to take monthly trips to the area their money has impacted so they can see hands on what advances were made due to their generosity.  Those donating money will have a say in the projects that get tackled and in what order.

Basically jump in where you are, and start with what appeals to you most, no, not tomorrow, today.  Take a class, watch a youtube video, it all works.  Yes, we know your friends may consider you freaks, and that’s totally fine.  Don’t ever let someone else’s judgment keep you from making good choices.  Ask if you were going to run your choice by an anchangel, what would they say.  Everyone knows the answer to that question, although they don’t always make that choice.  They make some excuse.  When you’re laying in bed at night going to sleep, review your choices from the day.  How’d you do?
